Kachingo holds a UK Gambling Commission licence (039483-R-319409-018) and treats player protection as a core operating duty, not an afterthought. Gambling here is meant to be paid-for entertainment, and this page sets out the tools, checks and signposting we provide so it stays that way.

Our commitment as a UKGC licensee

Every member of the Kachingo customer team completes accredited safer gambling training before handling a live account, with refresher assessments scheduled twice a year. Staff are empowered to pause an account and escalate to our Player Protection desk without needing commercial sign-off.

We operate affordability and vulnerability checks proportionate to the risk indicators on your account. These may involve requests for evidence of income or source of funds, and we will restrict deposits until the review is complete where the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice require it.

Kachingo does not send promotional material to customers who have self-excluded, requested a marketing opt-out, or shown behavioural markers of harm. Bonus offers are never used to encourage a return to play after a period of self-imposed restriction.

Tools available inside your account

Deposit limits can be set on a daily, weekly or monthly basis from the Safer Gambling panel. A reduction takes effect straight away; an increase is held for twenty-four hours and then requires a second confirmation from you before it is applied.

Loss limits, single-stake ceilings and session reminders work independently of each other, so you can combine them. Reality-check pop-ups display your net position and elapsed time, and you must actively acknowledge one before play resumes.

Time-out periods of twenty-four hours, one week, one month or six weeks lock your account immediately and cannot be reversed early. Self-exclusion runs for a minimum of six months and, once the term expires, requires a cooling-off period and a direct conversation with our team before any account is reopened.

Recognising when play has changed

Chasing a losing session with larger stakes, playing longer than intended, or feeling restless when unable to log in are all recognised behavioural markers. So is hiding the extent of your play from a partner, family member or friend.

Financial signals matter just as much: using an overdraft or credit facility to fund deposits, deferring a household bill to keep playing, or borrowing from someone close to you. Kachingo does not accept credit card deposits, in line with UK regulation.

If two or more of these apply to you, the safest step is a time-out today rather than a decision postponed until the weekend. Our team can apply one on your behalf if you contact us and ask.

Blocking software and national schemes

GAMSTOP is the free national self-exclusion scheme for Great Britain. Registering with it blocks your access to every online operator licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, including Kachingo, for a period of six months, one year or five years.

Device-level blocking software such as Gamban or BetBlocker adds a further layer by preventing gambling sites from loading at all. Many UK banks also offer a gambling transaction block that can be switched on from your banking app.

We recommend combining a national scheme, a device blocker and a bank block together. Each one covers a route the others do not, and the combination is far harder to bypass in a moment of impulse.

Protecting under-18s

Gambling by anyone under eighteen is a criminal offence in the United Kingdom. Kachingo verifies age and identity before a deposit is accepted and again before any withdrawal is released.

If a minor is found to have accessed an account, all stakes are refunded, any winnings are forfeited and the account is closed permanently. Where household devices are shared, we ask you to log out fully and to enable parental filtering software.

Never allow another person to play using your credentials, and never leave a session open on a shared or public device.
